One of the bigger problems players had in the early game of Lost Ark was what to do with their unused items. The choice to sell or get rid of them is a tough one. Players can earn money by selling items, but this can be a time-consuming process. Another option for players is to dismantle their Lost Ark items.
To dismantle an item, you must reach the Nevada Ruins in the main story. Once here, you can take part in the quest to find Hadim, the archaeologist. After completing their quests, you'll gain the ability to dismantle any item in your inventory.
To do this, look for the hammer icon in the bottom left corner of your inventory box. Click on this icon and you have two options. You can right click on a specific item and press the tear down button. Alternatively, you can right-click multiple items to demolish. Once you have selected all the items you want, press the disassemble button and the items will disappear from your inventory.
If you're wondering if you should remove or sell an unwanted item, removal is usually the right choice. Demolishing Lost Ark items rewards you with valuable resources that can be used to craft better gear. The only reason you should sell something is if it's worth a lot of money or if you desperately need money to buy something like a store item.
